What`s app Group Chat To Get A New Feature Soon.
XDA, a mobile
development company has provided a report that Whatsapp group chat may have a
new “community feature”. Although XDA
made this statement, they also noted that their observation is still
speculation at the moment.
Although whats app
is one of the biggest messaging platforms in the world, it is not too open to
adding new features. Nevertheless, they
have found out that whats app is currently working on a new community feature
on its app. And from the look of things, the new features may not be the same
way groups are been run on social media.
XDA added that “An
APK teardown can often predict features that may arrive in a future update of
an application, but it is possible that any of the features we mention here may
not make it in a future release. This is because these features are currently
unimplemented in the live build and may be pulled at any time by the developers
in a future build”.
The speculation
they are having is also based on the latest WhatsApp beta version 2.21.21.6
which comes with several strings that point to an upcoming feature called
community. XDA also believes that this
new community feature from Whatsapp will have a fair share of overlap with the
already existing group feature available in Whatsapp.
They also said
Whatsapp could simply be renaming their groups and calling them a community.
They also believe that based on the speed of the release, that community
feature will take years before it comes to a stable release.
